Essential Oil Dilution Chart!

In order to use the amazing benefits of essential oils topically, you must first dilute them in a carrier oil. You can use fractionated coconut oil, almond oil or simply olive oil. The below chart breaks down the dilution percentages based upon the number of drops of essential oil & carrier oil/container being used.

10% is great for short term use where there are no known allergice reactions.
3-5% is great for crafting DIY products for all skin types. Make sure to test on skin to circumvent any potential allergic reactions.
2% is ideal to use on a daily basis and is the reccomended dilution for children two years of age & older.
1% is often used when creating oils for the elderly & pregnant women. Although, anyone who is nursing or pregnant should contact their healthcare provider before attempting to use essential oils.
0.5% is best for those with sensitive sin or children under the age of 2.
